Accessibility
We are committed to ensuring that our facilities across The Royal Parks are welcoming, easy to navigate and accessible to everyone. Whether you’re joining us on our pitches and courts or taking part in our classes and courses, we work hard to create spaces where all visitors can participate with confidence and feel included.
This commitment extends to our leisure activities too, with accessible options - such as electric pedalos - providing new ways for people with limited mobility, as well as families, schools and community groups, to enjoy time on the water together.
Across our sites, we continue to enhance physical access and supporting facilities: many of our courts and pitches offer step‑free routes, and accessible boats, lifting equipment and toilets are available to ensure everyone can take part comfortably and safely.

Website accessibility
We are committed to making our website usable and inclusive for everyone. Our website has been designed and developed in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA, and we continue to review and improve our accessibility as standards evolve. Throughout the development process, we carried out structured accessibility testing, including manual checks and assistive‑technology testing, to help ensure that our content is clear, consistent, and easy to navigate.
Guidance on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines can be found on the Government's website.
How we support accessibility
To help you tailor your experience to your needs, our website is compatible with a wide range of accessibility tools and browser features, including:
- Screen readers and assistive technologies: our pages are structured with semantic HTML to support clear reading order, headings, labels and alternative text
- Keyboard navigation: you can move through all interactive elements using the Tab, Shift+Tab, and arrow keys
- Text resizing and zoom: you can increase or decrease text size or zoom in using your browser settings without losing content or functionality
- Colour and contrast adjustments: most browsers and operating systems allow you to adjust contrast, enable high‑contrast modes or apply custom colour settings
- Custom font and display settings: you can modify fonts, spacing and display preferences through your device or browser’s accessibility options.
Ongoing improvements
We view accessibility as an ongoing commitment. We regularly review our site, update content and refine features to improve usability for all users. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, we welcome your feedback so we can continue to enhance the experience. You can contact us here.
