Boating in Greenwich Park
Hire a boat and unwind on the water
Enjoy a relaxing pedalo ride on the Boating Pond at Greenwich Park. Boats are available daily during school holidays and at weekends from April to October. There’s no online booking available – simply head to the Boat Hut beside the playground to hire your boat. Each pedalo seats up to four adults, with a minimum of two people per hire, and family tickets are available. Just turn up, pay, and enjoy your time on the water. Please note that the Boat Hut may close if rain is forecast for the entire day.

Queues may close early in busy times. Check on‑site signage for last boat times.
Boating on the Pond
Boats can be hired directly from the Boat Hut on the day, there is no online booking required. Each boat holds up to four adults, with a minimum of two people per hire. Family tickets are available. Just turn up, pay and enjoy!

Visitors will be able to pay on the day with cashless payments including contactless cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. It is not possible to book in advance.
