What could be more relaxing than taking a boat or a pedalo out in the tranquil surroundings of The Regent’s Park – and then unwinding even more with a snack or drinks at the Waterside Café down by the lakeside?
Choose from rowing boats and pedalos, both of which are available at The Boathouse in The Regent's Park.
Booking online isn't essential. You can simply walk up to the Boathouse on the day and book in-person.

Seasonality
Boating is open for bookings from late March to October.
Opening times
Open from 11am weekdays; 10am weekends. Closes at 5:30pm April-May; 6:30pm June-September; Dusk in October.
Accessibility
Accessible boats are available, as well as a crew lift hoist. Carers go free.
Café
The Waterside Café has outdoor and indoor seating on the lake, and offers full menu, drinks and vegetarian options.
Facilities
Restrooms and accessible toilets can be found at The Waterside Café, located next to The Boathouse.
For your safety
We may pause operations if poor weather conditions makes boating unsafe.
During busier times
Queues may close early in busy times to clear the lake. Check on‑site signage for last boat times.

Young persons aged 16 and 17 years, students, and adults over 65 years are eligible for concessions with a valid ID.

Children and young persons 17 and under will not be permitted access unless accompanied by an adult who 18 is years old or above. Every boat must include a responsible adult over the age of 18 years.
No children under the age of 12 months are permitted.
All children under the age of 12 years old must wear a buoyancy aid. Buoyancy aids are available to use free of charge.
There is a maximum of capacity of 4 adults per boat at any time.
Alcohol is not permitted on the jetty or the boats. Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted access.

Pricing
£5.25 per 20 minute session
No children under the age of 4 years old permitted.
All children under the age of 12 years old must wear a buoyancy aid.
Children must be directly supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18 years at all times.
One child per boat at any one time (maximum weight per boat 70kg).
