Greenwich Park is one of the best places to enjoy cricket in the summer. From May to August, players can experience matches on a full‑size pitch, framed by sweeping views of London’s skyline - creating a memorable setting for every game.
You can also enjoy summer cricket at The Hub in The Regent’s Park, where a range of pitches are available for players of all ages and abilities.
Where to play
Cricket in Greenwich Park
As well as the pitch, your hire includes access to our cricket pavilion with changing facilities and a small kitchen. There’s plenty of space beside the pitch for friends and family, and we welcome spectators to come and watch.
Book a one-off match or reserve several slots for your club or local team by booking online. We strongly recommend booking ahead, as it’s a popular pitch during the cricket season.

Opens 8:30am Monday-Sunday all year. Closes 4:30pm Nov-Dec; 5pm Jan-Mar & Oct; 7pm in Apr & Sep; 9pm May-Aug.

Please be mindful of playing conditions as a wet table can cause damage which could make a wicket unusable for up to three weeks.
Bookings are responsible for all First Aid provision throughout the entirety of your stay within The Royal Parks.
Please do
- Leave the Cricket Pavilion clean and tidy and lock up when finished
- Leave the posts as you found them, if you are playing a Saturday fixture. This is key as the groundsman will not be available to make good for the Sunday game.
Please do not
- Wear rugby/football studs on the table or the outfield
- Lay any drying agent (sawdust) on the wicket.
